Hardy County Prosecutor Lucas See said he didn’t dispute Larry Sherman’ characterization of his client Brandon Barr.

“I don’t dispute he has a good family, he’s very smart and drugs ruined his life,” See said.

Barr was sentenced to not less than one year and not more than five years for unlawful assault and not less than one year and not more than five years for possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled substance. Judge C. Carter Williams ordered the sentences to run concurrently.
