Commission Contemplates Ambulance Levy

By Jean A. Flanagan
Moorefield Examiner

The Hardy County Commission has proposed asking voters in November to approve an increase in their real estate and personal property taxes to fund ambulance service for the county.
The commissioners discussed the levy at the June 4 meeting, but took no formal action.

To provide taxpayers with information about the proposed levy, the commission will host a public meeting on Wednesday, June 27 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Hardy County Courthouse.
