Tom Firor recalled a weatherization project he observed.
“It was truly remarkable,” he said. “The technicians went around the mobile home and pointed out all the holes and leaks that they would later repair.
“Then they took their sophisticated instruments and measured the air inside. It was so bad, the holes in the house probably saved the occupant’s life.”
Firor said he went back to visit with the client after the repairs had been done and the heating system replaced. “He was just so happy,” Firor said.
“That’s what we do.”
