Four Felons Admit to Probation Violations

By Jean A. Flanagan
Moorefield Examiner

Four convicted felons admitted to violating the terms of their probation in Hardy County Circuit Court on Tuesday, April 24.

Travis Brown, 26, of Moorefield, tested positive for meth amphetamine and oxycodone during a home visit by his probation office.

Brown pleaded guilty to operating a clandestine drug laboratory in 2017. He completed the program at the Anthony Center for Youthful Offenders and was placed on probation in December 2017.

Since this was his first probation violation, Brown was sanctioned 60 days in jail, with credit for time served.
