Hardy County Helpers Help Those Who Can’t Help Themselves

For several years, Jim Oliver, David Mathias and other volunteers in Hardy County worked with Habitat for Humanity to build houses for people who might not otherwise be able to afford them.

“Being affiliated with Habitat for Humanity involved annual dues and a lot of paperwork,” Mathias said. “And we had to build complete houses.”
