Hardy County Man Admits to Methamphetamine Distribution

Larry Allen Lyons, of Moorefield, has admitted to methamphetamine distribution, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell announced.

Lyons, age 55, pled guilty to one count of “Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.” Lyons admitted to working with others to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine from March 2018 to May 2018 in Mineral, Grant, and Randolph Counties. 

Lyons faces not less than ten years and up to life incarceration and a fine of up to $10,000,000. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the
