“The kids we have on the bench are real excited to play and sometimes they jump up out of turn. Our kids are just late making adjustments. The sooner we make the adjustments, the better off we will be. If the numbers are right, we won each set to 17 and then we didn’t. We need to learn to finish the set. They are coming along and working to get better,” East Hardy coach Marsha Hahn commented.
East Hardy’s SierraMarie Miller had an opening set serve sail out of bounds.
The serve from Luray’s Courtney Fox was returned for a kill by East Hardy’s Rebecca Whetzel.
Whetzel’s serve was ricocheted back into the net by the Lady Bulldogs.

Emily Dyer made a set for Yates to garner a spike giving the Lady Cougars the lead and Dyer extended the edge to 4-2 by delivering an ace.
An attack by Luray’s Jaidyn McClung was returned out of bounds, then the set was evened on an errant volley off a serve by McClung.
