Meals to be Provided to County Students Starting March 19.

Attention Hardy County Students and Parents

Beginning Thursday, March 19, meals will be delivered to all students of Hardy County Schools, free of charge. Simply call your child’s school and give the following information: Physical address Number of meals needed County bus drivers will deliver two meals for every student every day.

There will be a lunch for that day and a breakfast for the following morning. You can also pick up meals at any Hardy County School, no matter where your child attends. “We want to emphasize that this is for every student,” said Superintendent Sheena VanMeter. Also on Thursday, March 19, students/parents can pick up Instructional Packets at your child’s individual school. If you are unable to pick up the packet, please call the school and arrangements will be made to deliver it. “If any student or parent needs any assistance during this time, please call the school and let us know,” VanMeter said. “We will make every effort to provide assistance.”
