The Hardy County Planning Board kicked off its 2018 work with a review of key achievements in 2017 and its target goals for this year at its January meeting.

The Commission’s efforts in 2017 were dominated by work to update the County’s zoning ordinances to comply with the County’s updated Comprehensive Land Use Plan (Comp Plan) that was approved by the County Commission in 2016. State law requires that zoning ordinances be updated to reflect changes to the Comp Plan.
