In an effort to more successfully market Hardy County to potential businesses, the Hardy County Rural Development Authority board has voted to unveil a new logo and website. “We hope to go live the first part of April,” said RDA Executive Director Mallie Combs.

The RDA Board of Directors met on Thursday, March 22.

The new logo, which features stylized mountains in the initials HC and “Development Authority” was created by a firm in Richmond. The same company also designed the website. “We chose this company because of their work with Jefferson County and their targeting businesses,” Combs said.

Vice Chair Derek Barr with Hardy Telecommunications demonstrated the website and said it was very user-friendly. “There are several ways to get to individual pages,” he said.
