The Northern Garrett Huskies barked to a 33-nil shutout over Moorefield last Friday at Yellow Jacket Field.
Northern Garrett converted a fourth down deep in the red zone for the first touchdown as Zach Hallenback connected with Isaac Bittinger dashing across the middle of the end zone at the 6:07 mark and the extra point was good.
The Huskies (5-1) forced Moorefield (4-3) into a three and out and blocked the Yellow Jackets punt to regain possession at the Moorefield 17-yard line with under five minutes left in the first quarter.
Hallenback scored on a seven yard run for Northern Garrett taking a 13-0 advantage at the 3:17 mark.
The Yellow Jackets faced fourth down and inches and elected to go for it near midfield, but Northern Garrett made the defensive stop.
