Kenneth W. Sellers, 59, of Lost City was arrested and charged with two counts of murder on
Oct. 25.
According to charging documents, Sellers allegedly called the non-emergency 911 Center and
said he had been in an altercation with his sister and her son. When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived,
they found Joshua Turner and Donna Mchan dead from gunshot wounds.
Sellers allegedly said he had gotten into a physical altercation with Turner and Mchan over the
position of a fan. Following the altercation, Sellers went into his bedroom and returned with a
pistol. When Turner came towards Sellers, Sellers allegedly shot him. Mchan came towards
Sellers and he shot her.
Sellers is being held without bond at Potomac Highlands Regional Jail.
The case is bound-over and will be presented to the Hardy County Grand Jury for indictment in
February.
All of the charges contained in the above are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt, and
each defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
