The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (WVSDB) will host a College Prep Weekend from February 28 to March 2, designed to support high school juniors and seniors with documented vision and/or hearing loss as they prepare for higher education.
This event will provide essential guidance on college enrollment, financial aid options, FAFSA completion, and academic accommodations. In collaboration with the WV Outreach Center for the Deaf and the Blind (WVOCDB), Higher Education Policy Commission (HEPC), WV Division of Rehabilitation Services (WVDRS), and WVU Office of Accessibility Services, the program is tailored to address the unique challenges these students face in postsecondary education
