“I thought we started off slow. I don’t know what we shot in the first half, but it wasn’t a very high percentage. We talked about cleaning it up. I know we scored quite a bit by halftime, but we felt we didn’t have a great offensive first half and our defense wasn’t up to par. We came out in the second half a lot cleaner and played more efficient on offense. Once we started doing that, shots were falling and we were getting turnovers. Knowing they didn’t have a lot of size gave us confidence to go inside with Gideon. That was one of the most physical teams we have faced this year. Gideon and Joseph held their own inside and allowed us to get the perimeter shots,” East Hardy coach Chris Hahn remarked.
