Hagerstown, MD – The Tri-County Raptors, a local U10 youth travel soccer team, brought home an impressive second-place finish from the 7th Annual HCC 7 v 7 Soccer Tournament in Hagerstown this past weekend. Coached by Joshua and Angelia Campbell, the team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, with standout performances from both their offensive and defensive units.
The Raptors played four competitive matches, scoring a total of nine goals. However, it was their defense and goalkeeping that truly stood out. The team’s goalkeepers made several powerful saves, keeping their opponents at bay, while the defense proved virtually unstoppable, shutting down offensive threats throughout the tournament.
“We’re incredibly proud of the effort and dedication these young athletes displayed,” said Coach Joshua Campbell. “Their teamwork, along with some clutch saves and solid defense, made all the difference. It’s exciting to see them continue to grow both individually and as a team.”
The Raptors’ success at this tournament is a testament to their hard work, commitment to the sport, and ability to rise to the occasion under pressure. With the 2025 season ahead, the team is looking forward to more opportunities to compete and build on this achievement. Congratulations to the Raptors on their outstanding performance!
