East Hardy Varsity Cougars trailed by as many as five, but came back to defeat Cameron Varsity Dragons ’25 on Saturday at 238 Cougar Drive, 8-6.
Cameron Varsity Dragons ’25 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kason Angel singled to center field, and Zayde Long grounded out, each scoring one run.
Cameron Varsity Dragons ’25 extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI singles by Kason Angel and Zayde Long.
East Hardy Varsity Cougars jumped into the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Patrick Mills singled, scoring one run, Garrett Van Meter hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
Dayton Dove began the game for East Hardy Varsity Cougars.
