Larry S. Stotler, 78, of Green Spring, WV suddenly went home to be with his Lord on May 19, 2025.
He was born on July 14, 1946, in Magnolia, WV, to the late Harry and Lelia Stotler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Wade Stotler; an infant brother, Shannon; a brother, Harry Stotler; a sister, Rosa Marie Taylor.
Larry enjoyed a long career as an over-the-road truck driver. He was known as “Blue Dolphin.” Larry was also a very accomplished licensed general contractor. He was an expert drywaller who built many homes from the ground up.
Spending time outdoors was important to Larry, especially hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved God and his family. He would do anything and everything for anyone he ever met.
He was a wonderful husband, father, Pap, brother and friend. He loved with all his heart, and he will be sorely missed.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Shelia L. Stotler; three daughters, Tina Stahlman and fiancée Kristi, Crystal Atkinson and husband Erich, and Regina Mallery and husband Chris; grandchildren, Carolyn Stahlman, Heather Frye and fiancé Curt, Calub Atkinson, Jacob Atkinson and wife Cailin, Isaac Atkinson, Madison Martinez and husband Tyler, Nathan Mallery and girlfriend Lindsey; siblings, Leroy Stotler and wife Wilma, Wayne Stotler and wife Bonnie, Shirley Hott, and Elaine Kennedy; a very large extended family; and many many friends.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of his life is planned to be held on July 12th at his home.
