May 28, 2025 – The Grant County Bank continued its support for the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life with the 23rd Annual Relay For Life Golf Tournament, held Friday, May 2, 2025, at Valley View Golf Club in Moorefield, West Virginia.

This year’s tournament saw a strong community turnout, with 16 teams participating in the event. The format followed the traditional Captain’s Choice with four-person teams.

Thanks to the generosity of players, sponsors, and donors, The Grant County Bank will be able to donate $11,000 to Relay For Life. The funds raised will support cancer research, awareness, and vital patient support services.

“We’re grateful for the continued support from our players, sponsors, and volunteers who make this event possible year after year,” said Jared N. Amtower, The Grant County Bank Relay For Life Golf Tournament Chairman. “This tournament represents a team effort to help those affected by cancer in our communities.”

The tournament also featured a variety of skills competitions and cash prizes, including contests for closest-to-pin, longest drive, and straightest drive. A designated hole gave players the chance to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one.
