Donna Bodkins, Secretary/Treasurer of Denny-Moyer-Pratt VFW 9606 Auxiliary is showing the 5 certificates of Achievement and $400 worth of award checks she collected for the 9606 Auxiliary at the VFW State Convention held in Bridgeport, West Virginia June 19-22, 2025.
The Auxiliary received 1st place in the Hospital program and $100, 1st place and $100 and citation for the Scholarship program, 2nd place with $50 and certificate for the Buddy Poppy/National Home program, 2nd place $50 and citation for the Auxiliary Outreach program, 2nd place and $50 for the Legislative program, $50 and citation for 100% program reporting and Citation for being a “Healthy VFW Auxiliary”.
Denny-Moyer-Pratt VFW 9606 Auxiliary will be taking their 1st Place Buddy Poppy Display to the VFW National Convention in Columbus, Ohio, August 9-15, 2025, for judging on the National level.
Any man or woman who had a son, daughter, husband, wife, grandmother, or grandfather serve overseas during war time is eligible to join the VFW Auxiliary and we would love to welcome you to our Auxiliary. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, so just show up and we would welcome you and get you signed up to one of the greatest organizations in the United States of America.
