William Allen “Bill” Miller, Sr. age 93 of Fisher, WV departed this life on May 31, 2025.
Bill was born on April 24, 1932 in Marlowe, WV and was a son of the late Kenneth Allen Miller and Susie Virginia (Reid) Miller. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Anna Catherine (Crites) Miller; two daughters-in-law, Rosie Marie Miller and Virginia Elizabeth Miller; two sisters, Virginia Judy and Eleanor Leingang and two brothers, Paul F. Miller and Kenneth A. Miller.
Bill is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann Goldizen (John) of Conway, SC; two sons, William A. “Billy” Miller Jr. of Lahmansville, WV and Robert F. Miller of Fisher, WV; one sister, Mary Hite of Falling Waters, WV; two grandsons, Chris (Christy) Goldizen and Terry (Sammi) Miller, several great-grandchildren and a number of step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Bill proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Post 9606 of Moorefield, WV.
Funeral services were conducted on June 3, 2025 at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg with his son, Pastor William “Billy” Miller, Jr. officiating. Interment was in Lahmansville Cemetery with Military Honors.
