The Landowner Rights and Responsibilities in West Virginia Handbook was last updated in 1997. Many of the laws addressing landowner rights have changed in the intervening 27 years. West Virginia University is updating the Handbook and wants your input! These workshops will begin with dinner and then involve discussion of the most pressing landowner issues in West Virginia, including trespass, right to farm, the Endangered Species Act, and fence law. Participants will have the opportunity to review the draft updated handbook and ask questions, as well as make suggestions for changes or additions.
