Norma Louise Bogan, age 69 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 13, 2025, at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on December 19, 1955, in Rig, WV, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Willis and Rosetta Crites Willis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers.
Norma was a true force of nature, with a love for animals, gardening, and the outdoors. Her unwavering faith and love for God carried her through the good times as well as the bad. With a selfless and nurturing spirit, she always put others before herself, making sure that everyone was taken care of. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in cherished Sunday dinners with her family. Her laughter, kindness, and steadfast love created countless memories that will be treasured forever by family and friends.
Norma is lovingly survived by her daughters: Rachel Bogan, Angie (Shawn) Bowen, and Jennifer Bogan, all of Moorefield, WV. She leaves behind her brother, Donald Willis of Moorefield, WV; her sisters, Shirley Willis of Moorefield, WV, Sharon (Lewis) Paugh of Baker, WV, and Anna Lee Crites of Petersburg, WV; two grandsons, Christian Bowen and Jacob Bowen, also of Moorefield, WV, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom carry her spirit and memory forward in their hearts.
In celebration of Norma’s remarkable life, funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel located at 107 Washington Street. Pastor Dan Sterns and Evangelist Lewis Paugh will officiate the ceremony, guiding us through a moment filled with reflection and love. After the service, family and friends will gather for burial at Jenkins Hollow Cemetery in Durgon, WV.
Family and friends are invited to share their love, laughter, and memories on the evening of Monday, March 17, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
